Wedding Makeup Checklist in Istanbul
A calm wedding morning is planned weeks in advance. This checklist covers everything to do for your makeup, from booking to the final touch-up.
Three to Six Months Before
Book your makeup artist as soon as the date and venue are confirmed. Top artists fill their calendars early, especially in peak wedding season. Collect photos of looks you love and, just as useful, looks you dislike.
One to Two Months Before
Schedule the trial at the same time of day as the ceremony and photograph the result in natural light and with flash. Pause new facials, peels and skincare products at least two weeks before the wedding.
The Final Week
Keep skincare simple, drink plenty of water and sleep well. Do not try new products. Confirm the timeline, the address, and that the room has good natural light and a power outlet.
On the Day
Arrive with clean, moisturised skin and have breakfast first. Wear a button-front or wide-neck top so nothing is pulled over your face. Keep a small touch-up kit with lip colour, blotting papers and powder.
